About me:

I'm an Assistant Professor of Economics at Bentley University and a visiting scholar at the Center for International Development (CID). I hold a Ph.D. in Public Policy Studies from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, where I also completed a one-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Development Innovation Lab under the mentorship of Professor Michael Kremer.

My research interests are development economics and education. My current research focuses on the factors driving school sorting, their effects on children’s educational outcomes, and schools' market decisions. Additionally, I am investigating the impact of school-based mental health interventions on students and the impact of enhancements on anti-poverty programs on early child development.

Prior to graduate school, I worked at the Inter-American Development Bank.
